Michael Milstein, DO, FAAFP

Dr. Michael Milstein is a Magna Cum Laude Graduate of Tufts University in Boston and the New York College of Osteopathic Medicine in 1989. He then completed his Family Practice Residency at Overlook Hospital in Summit, New Jersey; a major teaching affiliate of Columbia University College of Physicians and Surgeons.

He moved to Florida in 1993 and became the Medical Director of Wellington Regional Center. While in private practice in Wellington, he served as Chairman of the Family Practice Department at Palms West Hospital.

He is Board-Certified in Family Practice and is licensed in Florida, New York, and New Jersey. Dr Milstein did a fellowship in critical care medicine and has sub-speciality interests in women’s health, cardiology, geriatrics, and sports medicine. He has been practicing medicine in Palm Beach County since 1993.

Dr. Milstein is an avid sportsman who has competed in many marathons; including New York City and Boston. He was also a finisher in the Ironman Triathlon in Hawaii in 1983. Dr. Milstein was given the distinct honor of carrying the Olympic Torch during the 1996 Atlanta Olympic Games in recognition of the many hours of volunteer work for the American Heart Association.

Dr. Milstein has taken part in a variety of research studies including diabetes, hypertension, and new antibiotic clinical trials. He currently sits on the Medical Quality Review Committee at Jupiter Medical Center.

He was born and raised in New York and met his wife Stacy in Florida. They have three beautiful daughters and love to travel as a family. His outside interests include photography, jazz, classical music, cycling, tennis and running.

Gloria
Concierge Coordinator / Nurse
Gloria received her Medical Assistant Certification in 1984 from the Orlando College Medical Education Center. In 1985 she married her husband, Michael, a Palm Beach county native and relocated to Jupiter, where she worked as a Medical Assistant and Office Manager in Primary Care. She returned to school in 1994 where she graduated National Technical Honor Society and received her certification in Surgical Technology. She worked in the operating room for several years before joining Dr. Milstein in Jupiter. Gloria has one daughter, Danielle, who attends the University of North Florida where she is studying to become a registered nurse. Gloria is a volunteer for Safe Harbor Animal Rescue and actually began her career as a vet tech. With Gloria's exceptional nursing & managerial skills, the office is run efficiently and has an ambience of tranquility.
Toby
Receptionist / Front Desk
Toby is a "Jersey Girl" who loves our patients and welcomes everyone with open arms. She is the true definition of a "people person," has a heart of gold, and is a strong patient advocate. Toby has been working with Dr. Milstein since 2003 as a front desk / receptionist. Prior to joining the medical field she worked as a legal secretary in New Jersey for 25 years. She has been married to her husband Andrew for 45 years and has an adorable Yorkshire Terrier named "Sonny Boy." During her free time Toby enjoys going to the movies, reading, and socializing with friends at the local mall. Every office needs a "Toby" and she is an invaluable asset to our practice.
Rickelle
Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN)
Rickelle is an LPN who has worked with Dr. Milstein since 1997. She also has a certification in surgical technology and has worked in the operating room at St. Mary's Medical Center for several years. Rickelle is the mother of three beautiful children and is busy managing her husband's marina during her free time. Rickelle will greet you with a friendly smile and always puts our patients at ease. Her compassionate bedside manner is extremely reassuring to all.

Registered Licensed Dietician/Nutritionist
Marla received her Bachelor of Science in Nutrition and Foods from Auburn University in 1988. She has 17 years of clinical nutrition experience and has been in private practice and consulting for the past 6 years. She provides individualized, personal nutrition plans to meet your nutritional needs and goals, as well as therapeutic diets for various medical conditions.

Karen Marchelletta holds a Masters degree from the University of Miami specializing in clinical exercise physiology. She has over 3 decades of experience in medical fitness and cardiac rehabilitation. As a former Pfizer pharmaceutical health care consultant Karen intimately understands the connection between lifestyle, health and quality of life. Karen can provide the following programs:

Bill
Ultrasound Technician
Bill is a registered technologist with over fifteen years of ultrasound experience. He works for "Advanced Imaging Specialists" and has worked with Dr. Milstein for 10 years. He holds five registries in ultrasound and cardiovascular imaging. Bill graduated with honors from the ultrasound diagnostic school in Jacksonville in 1994. He then studied Echo-Cardiography at the Mayo Clinic in Minnesota.

Advanced Imaging Specialists (AIS), the company which Bill works for, has been providing Ultrasound procedures since January of 1990. AIS is accredited in General and Vascular ultrasound by the American College of Radiology, and is an accredited Echocardiography laboratory by ICAEL (Intersocietal Commission for the Accreditation of Echocardiography Laboratories).
